It is genuinely free and there is no obligation to continue. The catch, if you want to call it one, is that a good audit is our best argument — we would rather show you competence than describe it. You keep the report either way.

Often, yes. We are frequently brought in alongside an internal team to unblock a specific problem, raise the engineering standard, or provide the senior architecture voice the team is missing. We do not need to own everything to be useful.
It will not be the worst we have seen, and we are not here to grade you. Every recovery engagement starts from an honest diagnosis with no moralizing about how it got that way.
