Scarlet Beast opens Scarlet College, a free college whose lessons write themselves

Scarlet College is a free website with five courses: astrology, artificial intelligence, day trading, Machiavellian manipulation defences and aikido. Every lesson has a quiz, real videos and a narrated audio version. When a student finishes a lesson they choose whether the next one should be easier, the same or harder, and all three are already written.

BRONX, N.Y. — September 26, 2026 — Scarlet Beast, a New Jersey conscious-technology organization, today opened Scarlet College at college.scarletbeast.com. The college is free and needs no account. It teaches five subjects, and every lesson in it is written by an AI for the path the student is on.

Lessons that are already waiting

Each lesson ends with three buttons: Easier, Same difficulty and Harder. The moment a student opens a lesson, Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, starts writing all three possible next lessons in the background, so whichever button the student presses, the next lesson is already there. Each one is written from the student’s whole path so far and the difficulty they chose, and it never repeats a lesson already on that path. A lesson takes Claude one to two minutes.

Every lesson has the same parts: the lesson itself, a hands-on practice drill, key terms, a six- or seven-question quiz with an explanation for each answer, and two to four videos. Claude searches the web for the videos, and each YouTube link is checked against YouTube before it is shown. A video that cannot be confirmed becomes a YouTube search link instead of a guess. A Listen button plays the lesson as an mp3, read by one of ten open-source Piper voices chosen at random, with speed controls and a download link.

Five courses

  • Astrology: the planets, signs, houses and aspects, chart reading, transits and synastry, taught as a symbolic tradition and not as a proven science.
  • Artificial Intelligence: from learning from examples to neural networks, transformers, prompting and agents, with small hands-on exercises.
  • Day Trading: market structure, order types, charts, setups, position sizing and risk. Every strategy comes with its risks and a push to paper-trade first. It is education, not financial advice.
  • Machiavellian Manipulation Defences: how to spot gaslighting, love bombing, DARVO, triangulation, false urgency and other tactics early, with scripts and boundaries that shut them down. It teaches defence only.
  • Aikido: stance, footwork, safe falling practised from kneeling onto a soft surface, solo weapons drills with a broom handle, and a timed home workout. Each lesson says when a technique needs a partner or a real teacher.

One shared tree

Lessons are shared. When a second student reaches a lesson another student already unlocked, it opens at once. A Save my place link restores a student’s position in every course, with the whole lesson path, on any device. Each new lesson runs on the organization’s own AI subscription, so the college sets a daily allowance of new public lessons. Lessons that are already written stay open to everyone.

Built in an evening

Scarlet College was built in one evening on the organization’s own server. A small PHP site asks a background worker for lessons. The worker calls Claude from the command line, checks every video link, and records the narration with Piper. There is no database and no tracking account. Lessons are plain files.
