Today: what your tools have for the day, on one page
If you use the free tools on this site, each one keeps its own list in this browser: medicines, dates, bills, steps. This page reads ten of them and puts today on one screen. It shows your medicines and which ones you ticked, what is on today and this week, what is still to do, the bills not ticked as paid, and your next small step. There is nothing to set up, and it keeps nothing of its own.
Good to know
What it reads
- My medicines: each medicine by time of day, and today’s ticks.
- Dates to keep: today, the next 7 days, days that passed without a tick, and dates it is time to start on.
- My day: Now and Next from the schedule you last opened.
- One step at a time: the next step on the list you last opened.
- Paper trail: things still to do that have no day, or a day within a week.
- Bills this month: this month’s bills not ticked as paid, and their sum.
- Job search log: next steps with no day, or a day within a week.
- Energy budget: today’s points and what is still on the plan.
- Day count: the number each count has reached.
- Mood and sleep diary: only whether today is written. It does not show what you wrote.
What this page can’t do
- It cannot remind you. It sends no alerts and makes no sound. It only shows the day when you open it.
- It cannot tick anything off. To mark a medicine, a bill or a step, open that tool with the button in its box.
- It cannot know what really happened. A tick means someone pressed a button on that tool, and nothing more. For medicines, go by the label and by what your pharmacist or doctor told you.
- It does not see other devices. A list kept on another phone or in another browser is not here. My data on this device can carry a backup across.
- It does not read the other tools: the safety plan, the hope box, the worksheets and the letters are left out on purpose, so this page stays a plain list for the day.
How it works
- A box appears for each tool that has something saved. The rest are listed at the bottom with what they would add.
- The page looks again by itself when you come back to this tab, when another tab saves something, and when the date changes.
- Print today makes a plain sheet. Copy as text puts the same day on the clipboard, for a message or a note.
- Typed words are shown exactly as you typed them in the tool.
Ways people might use it
- As the first page of the morning: add it to your phone’s home screen or bookmarks.
- With a support worker, a carer or a family member, to go over the day together.
- Printed and put on the fridge.
These are everyday ideas in our own words. They are not advice from a clinician, and they do not suit everyone.
Pages that go with this
- My data on this device: see, back up or erase everything the tools keep in this browser.
- Take the help with you: save the tools so they open without a signal.
- Check in with yourself: one gentle question at a time about water, food, sleep and people.
- All the free tools, and search.
