Games and puzzles
Thirteen free pages for playing: five boards for two people, puzzles to solve on the screen or on paper, puzzles and bingo cards made from your own words, and two helpers for any game. No account, no ads, no tracking and no AI inside. Open one and play.
Two people, one board
Each board knows the rules of its game: it shows where a piece or a disc can go, will not make a move the rules do not allow, and says when the game is over. Sit at one screen, pass a phone back and forth, or send a link after each move to someone far away. There is no computer opponent in any of them: the page never picks or suggests a move, and there is no clock.
Chess for two
2 players · one screen or a link
It handles castling, en passant and promotion, and says check, checkmate, stalemate or draw. The moves are listed the way chess books write them.
Checkers for two
2 players · one screen or a link
American checkers: a jump has to be taken when there is one, a jump can take more than one piece, and a man that reaches the far row is crowned. The moves are listed by square number.
Reversi for two
2 players · one screen or a link
A disc goes where it closes in a row of the other color, and every row it closes in turns over. When a player has no move, the turn goes back to the other; at the end the page counts the discs.
Four in a row for two
2 players · one screen or a link
Seven columns, six rows. A dropped disc falls to the lowest empty place, and four of one color in a line (across, up and down, or on a diagonal) wins. A yellow disc has a dot, so the two sides differ without color.
Tic-tac-toe for two
2 players · one screen or a link
Three rows, three columns. A square takes one mark, and three of one mark in a row, a column or a diagonal wins. X and O are drawn as shapes, so they differ without color.
Puzzles to solve on the screen or on paper
The page makes a new one on your own device each time you ask. Solve it on the screen, or print a sheet of them for a bus ride, a waiting room or a table of children. The sudoku and the mazes have no timer.
Sudoku
1 player, or a table of them · screen or print
Small ones of 4 by 4 or 6 by 6 for children and beginners, and the full 9 by 9 at three levels. Every puzzle has exactly one answer. Print up to six on a sheet, with the answers on a second one.
Mazes
1 player, or a table of them · screen or print
Four sizes, from a small one for a young child to a very large one. Walk one on the screen with four arrows, or print up to six on a sheet with the answers on a second one. Every maze has exactly one way through.
Coloring pages
Anyone · screen or print
Quilt squares, a round pattern or a window of colored glass, with big, medium or small shapes. Fill them with twelve colors on the screen, or print up to four on a sheet. A pattern number makes the same one again, so a whole table can color the same page.
Make your own, print it, play together
Type your own words (spelling words, names, words in a new language) and the page makes a puzzle or a set of cards to print, for a class, a party, a family table or a group. Each one has a number, and the same number makes the same one again.
Bingo cards
A room: one caller, many players · print
Up to 75 lines on cards of 3, 4 or 5 squares a side, 1 to 40 cards, no two the same, with a call list to read out. It does not say who has won.
Crosswords
1 player, or a class · print
Up to 16 words, each with your clue. The page crosses them where they share a letter, numbers the squares, lists the clues under Across and Down, and prints a second sheet with the answers. It writes no clue for you.
Word searches
1 player, or a class · print
Up to 20 words in a square of 10, 12 or 15 letters, running across and down only or in all eight directions, with a second sheet that shows where each word is.
For any game
Two pages that help with a game you already have: a board game on the table, cards, a game in the yard.
Pick for us
Any number of people
Who goes first, teams, a number, heads or tails, or up to six dice, picked by chance where everybody can watch. Every pick is numbered and listed, so everybody can see how many times the button was pressed.
Visual timer
Anyone
A colored disc that gets smaller as the time runs, from 1 second to 3 hours: for a turn, a round or a break. Nothing flashes, and the soft sound at the end is off unless you turn it on.
Good to know
What all thirteen have
- Free, with no account and no ads. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy.
- No tracking. None of the thirteen loads analytics or tracking.
- Nothing kept, nothing sent. What you type, draw or play stays on your device until you close the page. A board keeps a game only in the address of the page, after the # sign, which browsers do not send to a website.
- No AI inside. No computer opponent, and no AI makes the puzzles: each page follows a small fixed recipe on your device.
- Without the internet, once saved. Each of the thirteen can be kept on a phone with Take the help with you, for a trip or a place with no signal.
- In English and Spanish. Every page has a twin in the other language.
What these pages do not do
- No stranger to play. There is no way to find an opponent here, and no chat. A game by link is between you and whoever you send the link to, and whoever has it can move for either side.
- A link is not live. A move does not appear on the other screen by itself: after each move, the link is sent again.
- No scores, ratings or prizes. Nothing counts wins over time, and there is no list of players.
- Not an official rulebook. Each board explains its rules in plain words, in our own wording, compared with Wikipedia and not checked by a referee.
- Not tried by everyone. Each page says how it was tried. The five boards were tried by a program with a mouse and a keyboard, not yet on a touch screen.
Pages that go with these
- Flash cards: practice words or sums on the screen one card at a time, or print them to cut out.
- Easier to read: bigger letters and more room between the lines, chosen once for all the free tools here, these thirteen among them.
- Start here: up to three questions, and the pages on this site for what is going on.
- All the free tools, and how to save them on your phone.
This page and the thirteen pages it lists were written with AI (Claude) for Scarlet Beast (our AI policy), and the little pictures on this page are our own drawings, made with AI. There is no AI inside any of the thirteen. What this page says about each one is cut down from that page’s own description. It has been checked by a program, not yet by people, and the Spanish has not been read by a native speaker. It keeps nothing, so it has no line on My data on this device; see also how we handle privacy. Also in Spanish: Juegos y pasatiempos. Found a mistake? Email [email protected].
