Find the letter: every letter on this site, by who you are writing to
Some things you may want to put in writing: a repair that has not been done, a bill you cannot pay, a copy of your health record, an evaluation for your child. This page lists every letter the free tools on this site can help you write. Twenty have blanks to fill in, and six more you write in your own words. They are sorted by who the letter is for. Pick one and its page opens with that letter already chosen.
Type a word or two, like repair, bill, IEP or deposit. Nothing you type here is kept or sent.

When a letter comes to you
- Read it my way: a reader for letters and long text: paste the words of a letter that is hard to get through, make the print bigger and read one sentence at a time. There is no AI in it: it does not explain, shorten or translate.
- Dates to keep: every deadline and appointment on one list: the court date on one letter, the form to send back on another. Put each one in with the day.
- Taxes: free help, and what to do if you can’t pay: the tax guide has a part on a letter from the IRS.
- When someone you love is in jail or prison: the guide has a part on letters and packages for someone inside.
After you send it
- Paper trail: write down every call, letter and visit: write down the day you sent it, how you sent it and who it went to. It cannot remind you.
- Dates to keep: every deadline and appointment on one list: if you are waiting for an answer by a certain day, put that day on your list.
- When you need a lawyer and can’t pay: free and low-cost legal help, for when a letter is not enough.
Good to know
Before you send any letter
- Read it out loud once, or ask someone you trust to read it. The blanks are yours: check the names, the dates and the amounts.
- Keep a copy: print two, save the PDF, or take a photo of the signed page.
- Write down the day you sent it and how. Paper trail is a place for that.
- A letter asks. It cannot make anyone answer, and it does not stop a deadline that is already running.
These are everyday ideas in our own words. They are not advice from a lawyer.
What these letters are
- All 26 were written with AI (Claude) for Scarlet Beast. None was written by a lawyer.
- The twenty fill-in letters keep nothing, not even on your device: when you leave the page, what you typed is gone. The six older tools keep what you type in this browser only. Each line above says which.
- The fixed sentences of the twenty fill-in letters ask plainly and name no law. Some of the older tools do refer to U.S. law: for example the work request (the Americans with Disabilities Act) and the housing request (the Fair Housing Act).
- The notes on the four fill-in letter pages say which government or public sources were read, on what day, and what was not read. No state’s law is stated on them.
What this page can’t do
- It is not legal advice and cannot tell you which letter fits your case.
- It does not send anything. You print, save or copy the letter and send it yourself.
- It does not have every letter. There is none here for a court, an eviction notice, a benefits appeal, an insurer or immigration. For those, look for free legal help.
Pages that go with this
- All the free tools, and search.
- Call script: when you would rather phone than write.
- Pass it on: any of these pages as a code to show or a slip to print.
